Land held for what it earns, and for what comes next.
Bequest holds agricultural land across Punjab and Haryana. The holding is straightforward and we describe it as it is: land acquired for the agricultural income it produces, for long-term appreciation, and to hold ground available for future industrial expansion.
Income. The holdings are farmed and generate agricultural income in their own right.
Appreciation. Agricultural land in these districts has been a durable store of value, and we treat it as a long-horizon holding rather than a trading position.
Room to expand. Industrial projects are constrained more often by site availability than by equipment. Holding land in the districts where we operate means an expansion is a question of building, not of acquiring.
Relationships built through holding and farming land in these districts are also the relationships that underpin biomass supply — which is a practical benefit rather than a strategy.
