Bequest began with thermal conversion: the engineering of reactors that break material down under controlled heat and recover something useful from what comes out.

From our base at Mansa, Punjab, we design, fabricate and commission those plants in-house — torrefaction, pyrolysis and air pollution control, built to CPCB standards.

What has grown around that competence is not a conglomerate of unrelated interests. Every business in the group works at the end of a material’s life, and each one recovers something the previous owner had written off.

Land is what makes the rest possible: it puts our plants on ground we hold outright, in the districts where the material actually is.
